Getting involved

Getting the industry involved and in particular Small and Medium sized Enterprises as research partners and in a supporting network for improvements in the European pork chain is the major challenge for Q-PorkChains.

If you wish to join Q-PorkChains we are able to offer the following opportunities:

• Q-PorkChains research and technology developments will be completed by applied research in pilot chains and demonstration activities. These are core elements in Q-PorkChains which focus on the involvement of the industry and especially on SMEs. Their participating is important for bringing the industry point of view into the research activities and on the other side in testing and demonstrating innovations and new technologies.

• If you are interested in expanding your network and if you are involved in the pork industry you are welcome to present your institution in the Q-PorkChains Business Network. To do so please find more information here.
  

• Surveys will be arranged to obtain the industry's point of view. If you are willing to share your opinion please send an e-mail with the declaration "Interested in sharing my opinion in industry surveys" to the Industry Liaison Officer.
  
  
  
• If you are interested in finding out about pork related issues from other stakeholders of the pork sector and from different countries or
  if you want to address a specific discussion topic you are very welcome to send your topics of interest via e-mail with the declaration "my favourite discussion topic" to the Industry Liaison Officer.
